eTemp Performance is a high-precision surface temperature monitoring system using ultra-compact wireless sensors that attach directly to surfaces. It supports both real-time and memory-based data collection, enabling accurate, flexible measurement across research, clinical, and industrial applications.

The eTemp Performance system is a high-precision solution for continuous surface temperature monitoring, designed for use across scientific, clinical, and industrial protocols where accuracy, repeatability, and flexibility are critical.

The system is built around ultra-compact wireless sensors that attach directly to surfaces to measure thermal variations with high accuracy (±0.1°C). Each sensor is capable of collecting, recording, and transmitting data, enabling both real-time monitoring and autonomous data logging depending on the requirements of the protocol.

eTemp Performance operates using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication and dedicated Windows-based software, allowing users to configure sensors, visualise data in real time, and retrieve stored datasets for analysis. With internal memory storage, high sampling resolution, and flexible operating modes, the system supports both short-term monitoring and extended data collection workflows.

Designed for use on small, complex, or sensitive areas, the sensors are rechargeable, reusable, and waterproof, making them suitable for use in controlled laboratory environments as well as more demanding or field-based conditions.

System Components

The eTemp Performance solution consists of three key components:

Wireless Sensors

Ultra-compact sensors designed to collect, record, and transmit surface temperature data. Suitable for small or difficult-to-access surfaces.

Charging & Storage Unit

A multi-sensor charging box capable of recharging up to 4 sensors simultaneously, while also serving as a storage unit for daily use.

eTemp Performance Software (Windows)

Dedicated software used to configure sensors, enable real-time monitoring, and retrieve recorded data. Communication is established via BLE.

Operating Modes

The system supports two distinct data collection modes:

Memory Mode (Autonomous Recording)

  • Continuous data collection without the need for a wireless connection
  • Data stored directly in the sensor’s internal memory
  • Suitable for long-term monitoring or remote applications.

Real-Time Mode

  • Live data transmission to the software via BLE
  • Instant visualisation of temperature data
  • Suitable for protocols requiring immediate feedback and responsiveness.
  • High-precision measurement with ±0.1°C accuracy
  • Temperature range: −30°C to 50°C
  • Resolution: 0.01°C for detailed thermal analysis
  • Ultra-compact sensor size (12.4 × 9.5 × 5.8 mm) and lightweight (~1.3 g)
  • Internal memory capacity of up to 3,600 data points
  • Minimum sampling period: 1 second
  • BLE connectivity (approx. 5m range, environment dependent)
  • Battery life from 3 hours to 4 days (depending on configuration)
  • Rechargeable, reusable, and waterproof sensors
  • Multi-sensor charging unit (up to 4 sensors per box)
  • Data export in CSV or PDF formats
  • Windows-based software for configuration and data analysis.
