BMC G3 X Automatic CPAP – New Generation Device
Manufacturer: BMC
NEW GENERATION MODEL
The G3 X is BMC’s next-generation APAP, delivering a smarter, quieter and more accurate therapy experience at one of the most competitive prices among auto-adjusting CPAP devices in Australia. Its refined algorithm distinguishes between event types before adjusting pressure, titrating only when needed and reducing pressure promptly once resolved — supported by upgraded event classification for high-resolution detection and adjustable Pressure Response settings.
Operating at approximately 26 dB, the G3 X is among the quietest APAP devices available. Additional features include RESlex breathing relief, a single-press detachable humidifier chamber, real-time leak alerts, and data access via the BMC PAPLink Portal and Companion App, with optional Wi-Fi/4G connectivity for remote monitoring.
The BMC G3 X APAP: Smarter, Quieter, More Accurate
The BMC G3 X APAP represents the next evolution in the G3 platform, delivering a smarter algorithm, quieter operation, and greater accuracy across pressure delivery, leak compensation, and event scoring — while remaining one of the most affordable auto-adjusting CPAP devices in Australia.
Rather than responding indiscriminately to every detected event, the G3 X’s algorithm differentiates between event types before adjusting pressure. It titrates upward only in response to events likely to resolve with increased pressure, and reduces pressure promptly once the event has cleared, limiting unnecessary pressure exposure that can affect tolerance and adherence. This is supported by upgraded event classification, accurately scoring and distinguishing obstructive apnoeas, central apnoeas, obstructive hypopnoeas, central hypopnoeas, flow limitations, RERA, and snoring, for high-resolution detection and confident therapy management. Pressure Response settings allow further fine-tuning to match individual patient tolerance.
Operating at approximately 26 dB at standard therapy pressure, the G3 X is among the quietest APAP devices available, a factor worth considering for patients who are noise-sensitive or share a bed, where device noise can be a barrier to adherence.
An optional fine particle filter is available for patients with allergic rhinitis or dust sensitivities, capturing fine airborne particles including pollen for cleaner inspired air (recommended replacement every 6 months).
The humidifier chamber detaches with a single press, without gripping or twisting, a practical consideration for patients with reduced hand strength or dexterity, including those with arthritis.
Additional standard features include RESlex breathing relief, integrated smart humidification, and real-time leak alerts. Patient data can be accessed and managed via the BMC PAPLink Portal, with patients able to view their own therapy results through the PAPLink Companion App (iOS and Android). Optional Wi-Fi and 4G modem connectivity is also available for remote patient monitoring.
Suitable for both new and existing CPAP patients, the G3 X offers a feature set typically associated with premium devices, positioning it as one of Australia’s best-value auto-adjusting CPAP options.
