The Luna 100 and Luna 150 pulmonary ventilators are high-technology respiratory devices designed to provide ventilation for a wide range of patients. Compatible with various circuits and offering multiple ventilation modes, these devices deliver precise respiratory support in both clinical and home care environments.

Available Models:

  • LUNA 100  single-tube ventilator, ideal for both active and passive volume and pressure modes.
  • LUNA 150  dual-tube circuit, alongside single-tube active and passive volume and pressure-based modes.

Both models offer up to 50 CMH20 of pressure.  Are equipped with an easy-to-use and intuitive interface, a wide range of alarms, and class-leading battery life.

The warranty period for the Luna Vent is 2 years from purchase. 
To make a warranty claim or send a device for service, complete the Service Form and follow the instructions on the form for next steps. If in doubt, contact your rep for troubleshooting.

The Luna 100 is a single-limb ventilator suitable for passive and active circuits, mouthpiece ventilation, and high-flow nasal cannula therapy. The Luna 150 includes all of these features and also supports dual-limb configurations, offering greater flexibility in hospital or complex clinical settings.

Both models support multiple ventilation modes, including pressure modes (PSV, APCV, PCV, SIMVp, CPAP) and volume modes (CV, ACV, SIMV). These modes allow for both invasive and non-invasive therapy as well as high-flow oxygen delivery.

Yes. The Luna series supports low tidal volumes and high sensitivity settings, making it suitable for use with paediatric patients when configured appropriately.

Yes. Both Luna 100 and 150 are designed for versatility across home care, outpatient, and acute clinical environments. The built-in battery (up to 18 hours) and compact design support mobility and flexible use.

  • Luna 100: single-limb passive, active, mouthpiece, or HFNC

  • Luna 150: includes all Luna 100 circuit options, plus dual-limb circuit compatibility for more advanced use cases.

Up to five therapy configurations can be stored and quickly recalled for efficient patient setup and transitions.

Within Australia all Respiratory Equipment applied for through National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) must be endorsed by a Respiratory Consultant at a Specialist Centre or a Physiotherapist who specialises in respiratory care.

The internal Li-Po battery provides up to 18 hours of operation under standard settings. Full charging takes approximately 8 hours.

Yes. Luna devices support oxygen flow control (0–30 LPM), and are compatible with oxygen monitoring accessories, such as EtCO₂ and SpO₂ sensors.

The devices provide comprehensive alarm monitoring, including:

  • Inspiratory and expiratory pressure

  • Respiratory rate

  • Tidal volume

  • Minute ventilation

  • Battery and power supply status

  • Circuit disconnection or leakage

An 8-inch TFT touchscreen displays waveforms, settings, alarms, and ventilation data. The user interface supports both clinical and patient modes for safety and ease of use.

Yes, there is a trolley available for the Pegaso device (item code PM00000351). 

Routine filter replacement and circuit checks are required. Refer to the cleaning and maintenance schedule in the user manual for safe operation protocols.

The Luna Vent is not suitable for patients who:

  • Are unable to initiate spontaneous breathing (in certain ventilation modes)

  • Have untreated pneumothorax or severe bullous emphysema

  • Require immediate life-support interventions beyond the device’s intended scope

    Always refer to the clinical manual and consult a physician to determine device suitability based on individual patient conditions.

Yes. The Luna Vent 100 and 150 are suitable for paediatric use when configured with appropriate settings and accessories. The devices support sensitive triggering, low tidal volumes, and high monitoring accuracy—making them safe for paediatric respiratory support under clinical supervision.

The Luna Vent 100/150 should be serviced every 2 years.
