The Pegaso Plus is the home version offering 3 hour battery for portability. Both devices the Pegaso A-Cough Perc and the Pegaso Plus are suitable for both adults and pediatrics.
Pegaso A-Cough Perc and Pegaso Plus are the only devices that offer both stand-alone percussion/IPV (Intrapulmonary Percussive Ventilation) and a cough assist within the same device that helps clears retained broncho-pulmonary secretions, reducing the risk of respiratory complications. The Pegaso secretion clearance device is equipped with a highly sensitive trigger technology that adapts the therapy to the patient’s breathing rhythm while maintaining effective cough assistance.
Cough assist techniques are used in patients who present with a weak cough. The goal of these techniques is to increase the expiratory airflow that occurs during a cough, by assisting inspiration and/or expiration, thus increasing cough efficacy. Intrapulmonary percussive ventilation (IPV) is a pneumatic device for providing chest physiotherapy. Intrapulmonary percussive ventilation (IPV) devices provide a method for secretion removal that includes both hyperinflation and internal percussion. Intrapulmonary percussive ventilation (IPV) delivers high-frequency ventilation into the lungs, in the form of intrapulmonary percussions. Percussions, ranging from 60 to 400 cycles/min, consist of small bursts of volume characterized by sharp peaks of pressure.

|Automatic cough assistant||Generates in-exsufflation cycles automatically with the set therapy times.|
|Manual cough assistant||Generates in-exsufflation cycles while individually defining therapy times by manually moving the switch or pressing the I-E buttons|
|Auto-adaptive cough assistant||Easy-Start: Synchronizes the first insufflation cycle with the patient’s breath; continues following cycles in automatic mode
Auto-Sync: Synchronizes every insufflation with the patient’s breath.
